HE IS WITH ME

Psalm 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.

Notice in Psalm 23:4 how it says, “I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.”  Too often, the way people treat you is based upon how you treat them and how they think they can use you for their personal gain. We all need good motives in our lives, and those can only come from inviting Jesus Christ to come into our hearts. He then changes us: “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18). Thank God! God can change us...

PRAY IN THE TOUGH TIMES

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Sometimes God sends us through some difficult times. In John 16:33, Jesus told us we would have tribulation in this world. these things write unto you that you might have peace. The word “tribulations” in the Greek is the word thlipsis which means “pressure.” God will allow pressure to fall on you. He then said to be of good cheer because He has overcome it ALL...

OUR GREATEST WEAPON

John 17:1
These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes toward heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee:

Lago is another word for acts of prayer, which means “to break the silence.” Many times, we pray with our mouths closed. We just let the meditation of our heart be acceptable in his sight. But occasionally, God the Father wants us to open our mouths. Even if all we are saying is, “help Lord.” If it’s no more than saying “have mercy,” you will have opened your mouth. Since he’s our father he wants to hear the voice of his children...

GET BACK UP AGAIN

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

When it looks like all is lost, a wonderful thing begins to happen to those eagles: Its feathers will begin to grow back; its beak will also grow back; and its talons regrow as long and as sharp as ever before. After a time, the eagle will step out on the rocks...

BE LIKE THE EAGLE

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I have heard some preachers teach that as eagles age, their beaks and talons become encrusted with calcium. Thus, neither is as sharp as they once were. When this happens, the aging eagle cannot hunt as effectively as he once did. As he ages, he also loses some of his feathers. When this happens, it causes his body to “whistle” in the air as he dives toward his prey, destroying his ability to hunt in silence, thus further reducing his effectiveness as a hunter...
